Copper responds quickly to heat, offers comfort for the horse, encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit. Stainless steel rings and cheeks. A touch of nickel has been added to the special metal composition to ensure the bit retains an attractive silver color that even to a tack judge at a competition looks like stainless steel.
